Birth Doula Services
The way you will experience your pregnancy, prepare for your birthing time, and experience birth and parenthood will be entirely unique to you. A birth doula is a witness, support, and knowledgable ally who provides you* with individualized care during this time.

Birth Doula Care Includes:
During Your Pregnancy

On-Call Text, phone, & video support.

Monthly visits, in person or virtual. We can use this time together to:
-Discuss your hopes and preferences for your birthing time.
-Overview the process of creating a birth-preferences document, and create one together if you wish.
-Talk about evidence-based practices for birth, and where to find up-to-date, evidence based information.
-Explore the physiology and stages of labor.
-Practice and learn about comfort measures for labor and birth (such as positioning, movement, pressure points, and options for navigating labor sensations).
-Discuss and be with any feelings around your pregnancy, and birthing time (all are welcome!).
During your Birthing Time

Text, zoom, and phone support during early labor.

Support during early labor by phone/zoom, or in person at your home.

Support during active labor at your place of birth.

Care during the first 1-2 hours after your birth.

Support establishing breastfeeding or baby-feeding in the first hour after birth.

Photography on your device to capture your first moments together, if desired.
Postpartum

One postpartum visit in your home, to review and reflect about your birthing experience, and discuss how your transition to life with your new baby has been.

Evaluate what resources might be helpful to you during your postpartum time (Acupuncture, nutritional support, postpartum care, physical therapy etc) and make those connections!
Birth Doula Care Package Cost: $ 1, 700
You can reserve additional postpartum visits with your Birth Doula Care Package to ensure availability. They may also be added after birth depending on availability.
